The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leeuwenhoek misses with a hook

and Nielsen counters with a shoot takedown. Leeuwenhoek fights it but they end up in guard.
Nielsen tries to free his leg and advance position but Leeuwenhoek is retaining full guard.
Nielsen wants to control from the top but Leeuwenhoek keeps moving.
Nielsen postures up in Leeuwenhoek's guard and throws a big left but Leeuwenhoek blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Leeuwenhoek holds on and takes a little breather.

Nielsen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Nielsen feints the counter takedown.
Nielsen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nielsen is still on wobbly legs! Can Leeuwenhoek finish him?
Leeuwenhoek throws a pinpoint strike between Nielsen's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Nielsen crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Leeuwenhoek scores a great knockout victory!
