Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Morello Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Krunchy Proven!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark shoots and misses
and Proven counters by moving into the clinch.
Stark is trying to push Proven away but Proven has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Stark is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Proven is keeping busy.
Proven pulls guard successfully.

Stark has gone for a leg lock! Proven slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stark's guard.

Stark has momentary wrist control but Proven slips an elbow through the middle.
Stark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Proven gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Proven working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Proven doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Proven manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
