The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by goon or perhaps it was just good defense by Khmelnytsky which made him look bad. Khmelnytsky looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Khmelnytsky looks for the body kick but goon saw that one coming. goon ducks under a wild hook from Khmelnytsky . goon dives in and grabs Khmelnytsky 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khmelnytsky pushes down on goon's head and hops out. Khmelnytsky stuffs the takedown. Bagdan Khmelnytsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of the goon. Khmelnytsky throws a wild combination but nothing lands. goon fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Khmelnytsky checks it well. Khmelnytsky lands a left and a right that sends goon crashing to the canvas! Khmelnytsky dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like the goon has been cut. Khmelnytsky looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has goon covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
