Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shoyoroll Shanks (ranked 4962 p4p, 25042 weight class) and Aryan Deshpande (ranked 449 p4p, 513 weight class). Deshpande has chosen Ready to Kill as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deshpande throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Left hook, right uppercut from Shanks.
Deshpande misses with a low kick.

Oooh a lovely combination from Deshpande sends Shanks down but not out. Deshpande dives into side control looking to finish.

Shanks has his foot on Deshpande's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Deshpande works his way back into a safe position though.

Deshpande really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shanks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Shanks looking for a triangle here. Deshpande is fighting it but it looks tight! Shanks pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Deshpande is tapping out - this one is all over!
