Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mabuz Bacia (ranked 2104 p4p, 2494 weight class) and Eddie McDermott (ranked 211 p4p, 250 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McDermott's choice of entrance music: I'm Shipping up to Boston. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mabuz Bacia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie McDermott!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDermott throws an overhand right that lands on Bacia's shoulder, as Bacia tries to avoid the shot.
It looked like Bacia was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
McDermott jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bacia defending well as McDermott loads up on a big left hand.
That kick from Bacia tenderised McDermott's leg. McDermott is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice jab there from McDermott.
It looks like Mabuz Bacia has been cut.
McDermott missing with a left hand there. Bacia was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A quick step to the side and Bacia tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
McDermott throws a head kick that misses.
Bacia has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
McDermott rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bacia counters with a crisp right hand that drops McDermott! Bacia lets McDermott back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Eddie McDermott has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McDermott shoots in for a takedown but Bacia shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bacia is looking for a counter combo.
Bacia throws a front kick aimed at McDermott's knee but McDermott avoids it well.
McDermott rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bacia counters with a huge right that knocks McDermott out cold! Bacia is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mabuz Bacia!
A relieved looking Mabuz Bacia thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
