Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adan Puno (ranked 226 p4p, 459 weight class) and Thomas Rose (ranked 32 p4p, 61 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Puno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Rose!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rose takes a step back to recover.
Rose moves away from the strike by Puno.
Rose is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Puno walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rose checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rose tries to counter with a clinch but Puno shakes him off and moves away.
A slow jab from Rose misses its intended target.
Puno chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Puno turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rose blocks a low kick nicely.
Rose doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Puno looks to land a body kick but Rose moved away.
Puno scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Thomas Rose has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Puno connects with a single shot there.
Rose takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rose on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Rose looks winded!
Puno cracks Rose with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Puno cracks Rose with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Puno has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rose to stand back up!
That has opened up Thomas Rose's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Puno lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Puno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Puno is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rose.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Puno.
Puno cracks Rose with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Puno has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rose to stand back up!
The cut above Thomas Rose's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Thomas Rose's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Adan Puno!
