Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Whitlock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bantam Rooster!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Whitlock finds it's target.
Rooster with a poor takedown
and Whitlock counters with a good low kick that Rooster was not able to check.
Rooster tries to clinch there but Whitlock circles away.
Rooster gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rooster has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Whitlock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Whitlock leaves Rooster with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Whitlock quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Rooster takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Whitlock looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rooster ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Whitlock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Whitlock circles away from the clinch attempt
and Whitlock counters with a straight right hand.

Rooster is rocked!

Whitlock is stalking Rooster. Rooster circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Whitlock, and it's lights out! Rooster really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
