Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Qwis Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konoe Boganzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rey comes to the cage accompanied by It's Raining Men . Boganzi has chosen CkY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music. Qwis Rey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Konoe Boganzi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Qwis Rey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konoe Boganzi! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boganzi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rey is trying to maintain the position but Boganzi is very close to passing his half guard. Boganzi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rey's head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rey controlling the position for now. Boganzi wants to pass to mount but Rey is defending the position. Rey is not content to let Boganzi control the position.

Rey is staying active underneath Boganzi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Rey with a lazy takedown attempt
and Boganzi counters with a shoot takedown. Rey fights it but they end up in guard. Boganzi postures up.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Boganzi landing with the ground and pound. Boganzi with a flurry of punches that miss. Boganzi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rey had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Boganzi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rey Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Boganzi's back instead. Boganzi rolls, trying to escape but Rey keeps control of the position.
Boganzi turns into Rey and is now in his guard.
Boganzi wants to stand but Rey has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Boganzi trying to control the position from guard on top but Rey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boganzi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rey is breathing heavily. Boganzi trying to control but Rey is working from the bottom.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Boganzi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Boganzi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Boganzi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rey! Boganzi lands a big elbow. Boganzi avoids the attempt from Rey to control. Rey is trying desperately to improve position. Rey tries to hold on but Boganzi pushes him away. You get the feeling that Rey really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Rey is looking to get to half guard. Rey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Rey sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Boganzi missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Boganzi stops Rey from getting back to his feet.
Rey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boganzi wants to stand up but Rey is controlling the position.
Boganzi is trying to control the action in half guard but Rey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Rey slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Boganzi looking to sit in guard and control but Rey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boganzi's guard. Rey controlling the action here. Boganzi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rey is working away from the top position though.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Boganzi keeping hold of Rey's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are battling for position here. Boganzi manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Boganzi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rey manages to get himself to full guard.
Boganzi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Boganzi controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Boganzi distracts Rey with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Boganzi content to stall in guard here. Boganzi trying to control but Rey is working from the bottom. Rey controls Boganzi momentarily but Boganzi frees himself. Boganzi wants to control from the top but Rey keeps moving.

Rey just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Boganzi is keeping busy.
Rey looking for the RNC. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Rey lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Rey has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Boganzi! Can he survive? No! He's out! Rey gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Qwis Rey!
