The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veainu walks into a left hand.

Barboza misses with a double jab
and Veainu counters with a right hand to the body.
Barboza tries to land a body kick
and Veainu counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Bento Barboza has been cut.
Barboza misses with a left hand

and Veainu counters with a nice right hand that sends Barboza toppling to the canvas! Barboza scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veainu finish him?!

Barboza misses with a wild body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veainu! But no joy.
We've been told by Barboza's head coaches at League of Shadows MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Veainu counters with a nice right hand that sends Barboza toppling to the canvas! Barboza scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veainu finish him?!

Barboza throws a shot from downtown. Veainu moves away and avoids it.
Veainu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Barboza with a body shot.

and Veainu rattles Barboza with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Barboza tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Veainu dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Barboza stiff and motionless on the mat!
