Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Sparr (ranked 175 p4p, 601 weight class) and Kimbo Wahwah (ranked 29 p4p, 76 weight class). Sparr's entrance music is OH NO!. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Sparr! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kimbo Wahwah! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparr connects with a looping right hand.
Sparr misses with a hook. Wahwah ducked under it nicely. Wahwah throws a chopping leg kick but Sparr manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Wahwah throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sparr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wahwah was well out of range. Poor timing from Sparr. Wahwah tries to clinch but Sparr is having none of it. Sparr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wahwah throws a jab but it's blocked by Sparr. Sparr works the jab nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sparr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wahwah's guard. Sparr with a flurry of punches that miss. Sparr wants to pass the guard but Wahwah is keeping the position. Sparr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sparr postures up and lands a big shot to Wahwah's brow.

Sparr wants to control from the top but Wahwah keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sparr ducks under a wild hook from Wahwah. Wahwah missing with a left hand there. Sparr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sparr looks to score with a jab to the body but Wahwah is just out of range. Sparr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. It looked like Sparr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Sparr closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wahwah quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sparr lands a nice shot to the head. Sparr breaks from Wahwah's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wahwah manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sparr thows a huge punch but Wahwah dodges it nicely.

No, Wahwah has managed to free his arm - good work.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wahwah with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wahwah is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sparr working the ground and pound effectively.

Sparr throws an overhand right that lands on Wahwah's shoulder, as Wahwah tries to avoid the shot. Sparr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wahwah throws out the jab.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Roger Sparr will probably get the nod. That's time! Sparr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Wahwah throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sparr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kimbo Wahwah has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sparr is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Wahwah throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Wahwah lands a front kick. Sparr takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
