Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Vogels (ranked 1790 p4p, 1858 weight class) and Randall Dean (ranked 220 p4p, 227 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Vogels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Randall Dean! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Dean.
Dean takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Dean changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Vogels avoids the body shot from Dean.
A left and a right from Dean both land. Nice combination. Dean steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vogels. Some bone on bone action there as Dean checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Vogels on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dean. Dean obviously looking to wear him down.

He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dean has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dean and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Vogels lands a head kick that stumbles Dean and the fighters go to the mat.
Dean is rocked! Vogels drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vogels jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dean is still in real trouble! Can Vogels finish him? Vogels trying to control but Dean is working from the bottom. Dean has Vogels pulled in close to control his posture. Dean seems to have recovered his senses. Vogels drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dean dives on top into guard.
Vogels is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dean is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vogels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dean can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Vogels escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vogels slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Dean seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Vogels wants to sweep but no luck. Vogels looking for a guillotine here but Dean defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Vogels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dean can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dean is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dean preventing the sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Oscar Vogels dominated that round. The cut man is working on Randall Dean's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Dean jabbing away but nothing is landing. Vogels appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Vogels is looking to slow Dean down with leg kicks. Vogels lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Vogels is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dean can do to turn this around? Vogels throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Dean lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Vogels keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dean on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Dean smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Good leg kick by Vogels. Vogels keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Vogels moves away from the strike by Dean. Vogels appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Dean blocks a jab. Dean scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dean pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Vogels is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dean.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean looks to land a combination but Vogels avoids it well. Vogels throws a head kick but Dean moves out of range.
It seemed like Dean was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Vogels throws a good cross that connects.
A head kick misses from Dean. Vogels throws a lazy right hand but Dean sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Vogels takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Vogels throws a head kick that misses and Dean counters with a stiff right hand. A big right from Dean misses. Randall Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dean fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Vogels checks it well. An attempted straight right counter from Vogels misses the target. Vogels tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice leg kick from Vogels, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dean throws a leg kick that is checked and Vogels counters with a straight right hand. Vogels checks the leg kick. Dean drops his hands momentarily and Vogels takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vogels attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dean takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Vogels counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Vogels takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Dean takes a swing at Vogels's ribcage but misses. Dean throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vogels sees it coming and avoids it easily. Vogels thumps Dean with a low kick. Dean takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Vogels misses with a kick to the body.

Dean throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vogels bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dean's head. Dean misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Vogels counters with a big right hand! Oh Dean is in trouble here! Vogels follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oscar Vogels! A relieved looking Oscar Vogels thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
