Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Putte Ro (ranked 1072 p4p, 1324 weight class) and Giacomo Bandolero (ranked 83 p4p, 106 weight class). Bandolero has chosen Bandolero as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Putte Ro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Giacomo Bandolero! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bandolero takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Giacomo Bandolero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bandolero shoots in looking for a takedown but Ro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bandolero's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bandolero misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ro half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Bandolero swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ro counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ro is taking a breather. Bandolero says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bandolero looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ro controlling the action here. Ro passes into side control, despite Bandolero's attempt to control the position.
Ro creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. You can see the frustration on Bandolero's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bandolero misses with an elbow from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bandolero is trying to improve his position. Ro controlling the position. Bandolero takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Ro lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bandolero is looking for a sweep. Ro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bandolero is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bandolero is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ro lands some shots froms side control. Bandolero is trying to control Ro's posture but Ro avoids it. Bandolero seems a little lost for a moment, as Ro dominates the positioning. Ro has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bandolero is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ro is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bandolero trying to get back to full guard but Ro takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Bandolero sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Still in half guard, Ro seems content to control. Bandolero wants to improve his position but Ro is controlling well.
Ro is taking a breather. Bandolero says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bandolero is looking to control Ro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bandolero avoid being mounted? Ro lands with a punch from half guard. Bandolero tries to roll over but Ro keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ro connects with a nice short shot to Bandolero's temple. Ro working the head and body with strikes. Ro not doing much here.
Bandolero looking for submissions off his back. Bandolero looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bandolero actively working from the bottom here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ro is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bandolero has managed to free his arm - good work. Still in half guard, Ro seems content to control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Putte Ro dominated that round. That's time! Ro's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ro looks to land a right hand but Bandolero moved out of range. Good shot there by Ro. A looping hook to the body misses from Bandolero. Ro does a little dance to reset his feet. Bandolero fails to land with a series of punches.
Ro swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Ro darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Bandolero closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ro quickly recovers to half guard. Ro is positioning himself well to prevent Bandolero advancing to mount. Ro wants to control but Bandolero is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bandolero is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ro is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ro avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bandolero. Ro is defending against the submission attempts here by Bandolero.
The fighters are battling for position here. Ro manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bandolero distracts Ro with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bandolero lying in Ro's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Ro decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Bandolero taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
