Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cocaine Mitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Watson!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Watson ducks right into an uppercut from Mitch.
A jab lands there for Watson.
Watson lands a head shot.
Mitch punishes Watson's body with a nice straight punch.
Watson throws a good cross that connects.
Watson slips a straight right by Mitch.
A jab from Watson misses.
Watson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mitch tried to counter with a leg kick but Watson avoided it.
Mitch lands a slapping body shot.
Watson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mitch counters with a body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Watson moves forwards but Mitch connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mitch cracks Watson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Watson is rocked!
Watson blocks a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Watson looks to throw the jab but Mitch is out of range.
Mitch slips a straight right by Watson.
Mitch throws a front kick that sends Watson stumbling back into the cage.
Watson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Watson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
As Watson backs away, Mitch returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
A slow jab from Watson misses its intended target.
Mitch cracks Watson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Watson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mitch finish him?
Watson is still on wobbly legs! Can Mitch finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Watson missing with a left hand there. Mitch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Watson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mitch gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Watson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cocaine Mitch!
