Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jae Woon Ki (ranked 2882 p4p, 2987 weight class) and Naruesorn Chaiyachue (ranked 233 p4p, 240 weight class). Jae Woon Ki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jae Woon Ki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naruesorn Chaiyachue! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ki fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chaiyachue on the side of the head. Ki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Ki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Chaiyachue is looking to clinch but Ki is avoiding it.
Chaiyachue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chaiyachue clinches up with Ki and pushes him back against the cage. Chaiyachue is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ki is defending well for now. Ki pulls Chaiyachue into guard.
Chaiyachue must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Chaiyachue controlling from the top position. Ki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chaiyachue can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ki is controlling Chaiyachue's posture. Ki will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chaiyachue is one step ahead there. Chaiyachue wants to stand and escape but instead Ki has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ki controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ki looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chaiyachue working a defensive guard but Ki passes into half guard.
Chaiyachue looks like he's trying to stand up.
Chaiyachue wants to control but Ki is keeping busy.
Ki seems to be working for a kimura but Chaiyachue defends the submission attempt. Ki passes the guard and advances to mount! Ki working for a submission but Chaiyachue is keeping him at bay. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ki sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaiyachue wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Ki looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ki looking for a guillotine from mount but Chaiyachue is having none of it. Ki has control of Chaiyachue's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chaiyachue regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Chaiyachue is trying to stand up. Ki fails to move to back control. Ki controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ki stands up from mount. Strange move. Chaiyachue's coach down at Mighty MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Chaiyachue's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Chaiyachue lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ki circles away quickly and effectively. Ki feinted there with a counter leg kick. Naruesorn Chaiyachue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chaiyachue closes the distance and clinches. Ki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Chaiyachue tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chaiyachue closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Ki to counter with a crisp jab. Chaiyachue fails with an attempt to clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chaiyachue moves in looking to clinch but Ki pushes him off. Ki drops Chaiyachue with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Chaiyachue looks back up at him and smiles so Ki waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Chaiyachue is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ki circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Chaiyachue tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Ki wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jae Woon Ki! Jae Woon Ki very nearly forgot to thank BRAZEN - Fight Gear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. The defeated Naruesorn Chaiyachue had this to say: 'I wanna thank the fans who watch our fight today, I didn't get the win today but I will be back stronger on my next fight.'.
