Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Tonioli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Dayton!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick by Dayton misses
and Tonioli counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Xavier Dayton has been cut.
Dayton lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tonioli takes a step back to recover.
A punch lands to the side of Tonioli 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Dayton tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick by Dayton misses
and Tonioli counters with a big right hand! Oh Dayton is in trouble here! Tonioli follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vinicius Tonioli!
