Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig May (ranked 4063 p4p, 3402 weight class) and Marques Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marques Roy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marques Roy!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
May tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Roy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Roy now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
May fails to land the takedown.
May shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roy as he avoids it easily.
May tries to clinch but Roy moves away
and Roy counters with a single leg into guard. May didn't expect that.
May is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Roy dives into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roy looks up at the clock and then as May takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Roy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Roy lands a strong strike to the head of May. That's dazed him! Roy looking to finish here. May is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Roy lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
