Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Borys Mankowski!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mankowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mankowski is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Omar with a body shot.
Omar gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Ali Omar has been cut.

Mankowski rushes Omar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Omar breaks the clinch.

Omar tries to sprawl but Mankowski drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Well, if Mankowski is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Omar is looking for a sweep. Mankowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mankowski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mankowski controlling the pace.
Mankowski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Omar trying to hold on to Mankowski's head to control him but Mankowski postures up.
Mankowski has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Omar works to full guard.
Mankowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Omar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Omar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Omar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Omar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mankowski is proving hard to escape from.

Mankowski is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Omar is looking to clinch but Mankowski is avoiding it.

Omar changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mankowski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Omar stuns Mankowski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mankowski throws a sloppy head kick and Omar moves out of range easily.
Omar is looking to clinch but Mankowski is avoiding it.
Mankowski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Omar connects with a looping right hand.

Mankowski moves into range and clinches up with Omar.
Omar is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mankowski is defending well.

Omar is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Mankowski avoiding damage.
Omar is pressed up against the cage. Mankowski has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Omar down to the mat. Omar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Mankowski throws a leg kick that misses.

Omar closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mankowski's guard.
Mankowski is breathing heavily.
Mankowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Omar is controlling him.

Mankowski is not content to let Omar control the position.
Omar wants to free his trapped foot but Mankowski is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Omar is trying to control. Mankowski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Omar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mankowski tries to avoid it but Omar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mankowski to the ground. Mankowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mankowski throws a counter combo.

Omar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Omar lands in his opponent's guard.
Omar is looking to stand up but Mankowski won't let him.

Ali Omar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Omar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mankowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Omar has managed to get both his arms back between Mankowski's legs - danger averted.

Mankowski is looking to cinch up a triangle. Omar throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Mankowski's body to avoid the submission. Mankowski has instead reached around Omar's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Mankowski arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
