Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kin Kon (ranked 4537 p4p, 5370 weight class) and Hagler Hearns (ranked 313 p4p, 346 weight class). Kin Kon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hagler Hearns's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kin Kon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hagler Hearns! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kon closes the distance and clinches. Kon tightens his grip and picks Hearns up, before dumping him to the ground. Hearns manages to land in guard. Kon is in close to Hearns's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hearns is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kon is aware though and is defending well. Hearns looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kon landing with the ground and pound. Hearns has his foot on Kon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kon works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hearns has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kon has managed to get both his arms back between Hearns's legs - danger averted. Kon landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hearns wants to improve his position but instead Kon has moved into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hearns wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kon lands a nice short elbow. Nice strikes from Kon there. Hearns moves into full guard.
Kon wants to control from the top but Hearns keeps moving. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kon's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hearns's head. Kon scoring with some ground and pound.
Hearns is rocked! Kon postures up and lands a big shot to Hearns's brow. Hearns is still in real trouble! Can Kon finish him? Kon arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hearns's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kin Kon! Kin Kon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
