Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Majid Rahim (ranked 4061 p4p, 3038 weight class) and Jaydin Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson shoots in and bounces Rahim off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rahim being controlled here, momentarily.
Rahim could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rahim utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dawson with a flurry of punches that miss.
Rahim looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dawson trying to control the position from guard on top but Rahim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rahim has momentary wrist control but Dawson slips an elbow through the middle.
Rahim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dawson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dawson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rahim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dawson defends well.
Rahim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dawson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dawson lands a couple of elbows.
Dawson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rahim is looking for a triangle but Dawson pushes his legs off easily.
Rahim is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dawson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Rahim's body to avoid the submission. Rahim has instead reached around Dawson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Rahim arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
