Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tesla Golf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller moves into the clinch successfully.
Golf looking to stall.
Miller throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Miller goes for a takedown attempt but Golf pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Golf misses with a low kick.
Miller circles away from the clinch attempt

and Miller counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Golf!
Golf really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Miller controlling the position easily from mount.
Golf holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Miller tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Miller prevents Golf from getting the reversal.
Golf slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Golf is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Golf tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control.
Miller is trying to control the action in half guard but Golf is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Miller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Miller has gone for a leg lock! Golf slips out almost immediately though and dives into Miller's guard.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Golf is stalling in the full guard.
Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Golf on the ground.

Golf missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Golf wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.

Miller is trying to hold Golf in close to prevent damage but Golf has managed to pass into half guard.

Golf is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Miller defends it well.

Golf drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Golf jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Miller seems keen to control Golf's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Matt Miller has been cut.
The is referee keeping an eye on Miller - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Golf tries to clinch up but Miller circles away and keeps his distance.

and Golf counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Golf.

Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tesla Golf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Golf.
Golf wants to clinch but Miller slips to the side

and Miller moves into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Golf tries to stall but Miller uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Miller circles away from the clinch attempt

and Miller counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Golf!
Golf is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Golf tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control.
Golf tries to hold on but Miller postures up.
Golf is working to get back to half guard.

Miller is in the full mount, landing strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Golf keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Golf turns into him and now he's in Miller's guard.
Miller throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Miller has Golf pulled in close to control his posture.
Miller wants to stand but Golf is controlling the position.
Miller pulls Golf in to control the position.
Golf preventing the sweep.
Golf trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Miller looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Golf trying to move into half guard but instead Miller has managed to sweep!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Golf working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Miller gets to his feet. Golf looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Tesla Golf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Golf throws a wild body kick that Miller sees coming a mile off.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Golf.
Golf looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Miller fails in his attempt to clinch.
Golf tries for a takedown but Miller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Golf throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Miller scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

and Miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Golf's guard now.
Miller seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Miller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Golf manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Miller has Golf in his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Miller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Golf advances position into side control!

Golf is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Miller is trying to escape and Golf transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Miller is forced to tap! Nice work there by Golf! Very nice indeed!
