The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Adams misses.
A little feinted left hand from Kreischer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kreischer looks to score with a jab to the body but Adams is just out of range.
Kreischer catches Adams with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Fester Adams has been cut.
Adams fails in his attempt to clinch.
Adams keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kreischer.
Adams is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Adams digs a good body shot into Kreischer's ribs.
A jab from Kreischer misses.
Kreischer throws a hook but Adams avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Adams ! But no joy.

Kreischer rushes Adams and presses him up against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Kreischer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

I was talking to Kreischer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kreischer cracks Adams with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Adams goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Adams wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
