Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas McCain (ranked 1044 p4p, 750 weight class) and Shape Shifter (ranked 141 p4p, 101 weight class). Lucas McCain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lucas McCain !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 1, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from McCain misses
and Shifter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McCain 's guard.
Shifter is looking to work some ground and pound but McCain has wrist control.
McCain keeping full guard, as Shifter tries to pass.
Shifter throws a strike but McCain rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Shifter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. McCain stacks Shifter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by McCain !
Shifter throws a few strikes from the bottom but McCain takes advantage and mounts!
Shifter looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Shifter manages to reverse the position and now he's in McCain 's guard. Nice work there by Shifter.
Shifter is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McCain is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McCain has escaped and now he's on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shifter has his foot on McCain 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McCain works his way back into a safe position though.
Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Shifter has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Shifter looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McCain has picked Shifter up and slammed him! Shifter can't keep hold of the triangle and McCain manages to pass to side control!
Shifter tries to improve position but can't.
Shifter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Shifter trying to get back to full guard but McCain takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

McCain wants to get back to his feet but Shifter is holding on tight.
McCain prevents Shifter from getting the reversal.
Shifter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Shifter manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Shifter is looking for a sweep. McCain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Shifter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McCain pulls his head out easily.

Shifter throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
McCain wants to stand up but Shifter is controlling the position.
Shifter gets full guard.

Shifter has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McCain doesn't defend quickly enough and Shifter has managed to lock this one up! Can McCain escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Shifter on a fantastic submission victory.
