Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Adams (ranked 1792 p4p, 1962 weight class) and Nero Porto (ranked 190 p4p, 211 weight class). Porto has chosen Ayumi Nakamura - Kaze Ni Nare as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruno Adams ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nero Porto! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Adams connects with a nice looking jab.
Porto missing with a left hand there. Adams was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Adams connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Adams ducks under a wild hook from Porto. Adams throws a right and a left that both miss. Sloppy strikes from Adams . Those never looked like landing. Adams misses with a lunging right hand
and Porto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Porto throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Adams avoids the body shot from Porto.
Porto throws a jab but it's blocked by Adams . Adams throws a big counter combination but Porto scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Porto misses with a hook. Porto misses with an uppercut
and Adams counters with a three punch combo that has Porto backing up. Porto nods at Adams to acknowledge the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Porto misses with a looping left. Porto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams misses with a double jab
and Porto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Porto defending well as Adams loads up on a big left hand. Adams pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Porto back to the cage. Adams follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Porto thows a left - swing and a miss! Adams shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Porto eats them both and turns towards Adams to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Porto might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Porto staying out of range there. Adams throws a right and a left that Porto avoids nicely. Adams throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Porto on the side of the head. Porto misses the jab. Bruno Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Adams throws a shot from downtown. Porto moves away and avoids it. Adams throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Porto fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Adams misses with a looping left. Adams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A nice side step and Porto releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Adams throws a lazy uppercut
and Porto counters with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adams misses with a left hand and Porto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Porto looks to throw the jab but Adams is out of range. Porto misses with a straight left. Adams misses with an uppercut
enabling Porto to counter with a crisp jab. Bruno Adams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Adams throws an overhand right that lands on Porto's shoulder, as Porto tries to avoid the shot. Porto throws a series of punches but Adams avoids them all with ease. A little feinted left hand from Adams on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Porto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adams connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Adams scores with a jab to the head.
Porto avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Left hook, right uppercut from Adams . Porto digs a good body shot into Adams 's ribs. A telegraphed right hand from Adams misses the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams misses with a lunging right hand
and Porto counters with a shoot takedown. Adams fights it but they end up in guard. Porto postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Adams working a defensive guard here.
Adams pulls Porto in to control the position. Adams looking for a guillotine here but Porto defends easily.
Porto throwing strikes but missing. Adams wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Porto postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Porto trying to control the position from guard on top but Adams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adams trying to keep a closed guard but Porto is proving a slippery customer.
Adams seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Adams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Adams scores with a sloppy right hand. Porto should have avoided that one. Adams rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Porto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Porto scores with a hook. Adams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Porto. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bruno Adams will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Adams misses with a double jab.
Bruno Adams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Adams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Adams misses with a wild combination.
The fighters circling - Adams throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Adams throws a lazy uppercut

Adams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porto cracks Adams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Porto listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Adams is rocked! Porto takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Oh Adams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bruno Adams is winning the standup battle so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Adams throws a left and a right that both miss
and Porto counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adams won't be happy with that. Porto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Adams wants to control but Porto postures up. Adams is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Porto scoring with punches from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Porto cracks Adams with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Porto immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Adams is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Porto!
