Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 60 - 199 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Do Souza shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pending looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Do Souza works his foot free and advances to mount. Do Souza controlling the position easily from mount. Do Souza has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Do Souza lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Do Souza takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Do Souza seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pending for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pending should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Do Souza is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight!
