Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lo Ol (ranked 3385 p4p, 5723 weight class) and Kyojin Rikishi (ranked 0 p4p, 224 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lo Ol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyojin Rikishi!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rikishi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ol is fending him off so far but Rikishi persists. Nope, Ol circles away and we're back to standing.
Kyojin Rikishi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rikishi goes for a double leg but Ol avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ol continues to drive forward.
Ol swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Ol gets caught flat footed, as Rikishi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ol trying to keep a closed guard but Rikishi is proving a slippery customer.
Rikishi stopping the sweep attempt from Ol.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rikishi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ol swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rikishi stands up from Ol's guard - Rikishi perhaps looking for a knockout.
Rikishi dives in for a single leg takedown but Ol sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A little feinted left hand from Ol on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Lo Ol has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyojin Rikishi.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rikishi tries for a takedown but Ol circles away easily
and Ol counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rikishi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rikishi shoots and misses
and Ol counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Kyojin Rikishi has been cut.
Rikishi dives in for a single leg takedown but Ol sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ol is looking for a counter combo.
No luck for Rikishi with that takedown attempt.
It looked like Ol wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rikishi or perhaps it was just good defense by Ol, which made it look bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rikishi misses with a takedown

and Ol counters with a nice right hand that sends Rikishi toppling to the canvas! Rikishi scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ol finish him?!
Rikishi looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ol leaves Rikishi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rikishi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ol throwing a counter right hand but Rikishi manages to avoid it.
Rikishi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rikishi shoots in looking for a takedown. Ol tries to sprawl out of it but Rikishi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ol manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Ol was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rikishi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ol counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Rikishi badly! Ol follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Rikishi out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Ol finished him against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lo Ol!
