Payton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Payton misses with a hook. Martell ducked under it nicely.

and Martell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Walter Payton has been cut.
Payton scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Payton throws a shot to the body.

letting Martell counter with a right hand.
Payton throws a big shot that misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Martell! But no joy.
Payton throws an off balance right hand
and Martell counters with a straight right hand.
Payton throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Payton missing with a left hand there. Martell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It seemed like Martell was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Martell slips under a jab from Payton.
Martell dips to his left and cracks Payton with an uppercut!
Payton throws an off balance right hand
enabling Martell to counter with a crisp jab.

Payton swings widly with a right hand
and Martell counters with a big right hand! Oh Payton is in trouble here! Martell follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
