Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Dukes (ranked 3943 p4p, 3721 weight class) and Gennaday Golovkan (ranked 464 p4p, 446 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leroy Dukes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gennaday Golovkan!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes with a nice cross.
It looks like Gennaday Golovkan has been cut.
Dukes misses with the combination.
And Golovkan tries to counter it with a takedown but Dukes pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dukes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Golovkan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dukes circles away quickly and effectively.
Dukes lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Dukes swings for the body but Golovkan moves out of range.
Dukes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Golovkan tries to move into range but Dukes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dukes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Golovkan.
Dukes lands a jab to the head.
Sloppy strikes from Golovkan. Those never looked like landing.
Dukes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dukes just misses with a punch to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dukes thows a left - swing and a miss!
Golovkan walks into a straight right hand from Dukes.
Golovkan is rocked!
Dukes throws an overhand right that drops Golovkan like a sack of potatoes! Dukes dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leroy Dukes!
