Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cohen Hawthorne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harry Kane! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hawthorne is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hawthorne managing to control the position. We've been hearing good reports from Hawthorne's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Kane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kane trying to control but Hawthorne is working from the bottom. Hawthorne is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hawthorne is keeping the position for now. Kane sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hawthorne is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hawthorne has escaped and now he's on top! Kane is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Hawthorne should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
