Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rolly Mcgee (ranked 3275 p4p, 2487 weight class) and Cade Quinn (ranked 404 p4p, 309 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rolly Mcgee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cade Quinn!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quinn closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch on the inside from Quinn fails to land.

Mcgee wants the takedown. Quinn is fighting it off but Mcgee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Quinn's guard against the cage.

Quinn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mcgee defends it easily.
Mcgee is looking to work some ground and pound but Quinn has wrist control.

Quinn has a closed guard, preventing Mcgee from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Quinn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcgee manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Quinn wants to pass the guard but Mcgee is keeping the position.
Quinn trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcgee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcgee looking for a sweep. Not yet Mcgee, not yet.
Quinn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcgee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Quinn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mcgee is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Quinn, into his guard.

Quinn has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Banzai Combat Academy LA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Quinn is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mcgee is aware though and is defending well.

Mcgee stands up over Quinn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Mcgee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Quinn tries to buck Mcgee off but Mcgee is having none of it.

Mcgee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Quinn to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Quinn scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Quinn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rolly Mcgee will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mcgee on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Quinn stalks Mcgee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mcgee's face. Mcgee staggers backwards, shaken.
Cade Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quinn scores with a jab. Mcgee acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Quinn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Mcgee counters with a single leg into guard. Quinn didn't expect that.

Quinn is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Mcgee rolls with it to try and escape but Quinn cranks on the arm and Mcgee is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Cade Quinn!
After the fight, Cade Quinn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
