Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23184 p4p, 5803 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 119 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 112 - 26 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter A is trying to defend but Fighter B finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fighter A is trying to maintain the position but Fighter B is very close to passing his half guard. Fighter A is holding on to half guard well. Fighter A wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Fighter A has his hands clasped together around Fighter B's back. He's all about the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Fighter B seems content to control. Fighter A is in trouble now - Fighter B has advanced to mount! Fighter B controlling his opponent. Fighter A tries to hold on but Fighter B pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A tries to reverse the position but Fighter B maintains control. Fighter B throws some wild stikes that Fighter A manages to avoid easily.
Fighter A can't escape the position.
Fighter B controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A wants to hold on but Fighter B pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fighter A is working to get back to half guard.
Fighter B controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter A is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter B controlling his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fighter B is looking for the big counter here. Fighter B fails with the takedown and Fighter A counters with a left to the body. Fighter A has a takedown stuffed. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fighter B is fending him off so far but Fighter A persists. Nope, Fighter B circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fighter B stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter B wants it to stay on the feet. Fighter A wants to clinch. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A with a lazy takedown attempt and Fighter B counters with a solid body kick. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fighter A enables Fighter B to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fighter A manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fighter A not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fighter B controls from within his opponent's guard. Fighter A has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fighter B has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter A can't do much from the bottom here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Fighter B goes for a double leg but Fighter A avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fighter A continues to drive forward. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fighter A is defended easily by Fighter B. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter A on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter A's guard now, I'm sure. Fighter B controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fighter B works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A regains full guard. Nicely done. Fighter B not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Fighter A striking off his back but it's not causing Fighter B any problems.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter A. Fighter B isn't going anywhere. Fighter B can't do much from the bottom here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter B can do anything to dispel that myth. Fighter B is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A working away. Fighter A sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fighter B is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fighter B sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Fighter A is nestled in close to Fighter B, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fighter B is trying to get back to full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
