This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 127 wins and 93 losses; Tyrone Sparxx! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 56 wins and 35 losses; Tyron Scott! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Scott closes the distance and clinches up with Sparxx, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes Sparxx against the cage but Sparxx circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sparxx displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scott. Scott gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Sparxx (2) vs (0) Scott Scott pulls Sparxx in to control the position. Sparxx stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scott swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott seems keen to control Sparxx's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparxx controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Scott is pulling down on Sparxx's head. It's preventing any offense from Sparxx, at least for the moment. Sparxx is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott has Sparxx pulled in close to control his posture. Our spies down at at Hammer House of Horror inform us that Scott has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Sparxx wants to pass the guard but Scott is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott has his hands on Sparxx's head, controlling the position. We've been hearing good reports from Sparxx's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Sparxx controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sparxx is stalling in the full guard.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Sparxx pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Scott is keeping the position for now. Sparxx is fighting to break Scott's control of his arms but Scott is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Scott looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sparxx content to stall in guard here. Scott is controlling Sparxx's posture.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Sparxx wants to pass the guard but Scott is keeping the position. Sparxx sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sparxx tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard. Sparxx's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Sparxx is fighting to break Scott's control of his arms but Scott is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sparxx engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Scott controlling the position.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Sparxx is looking to advance position but Scott has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Sparxx (2) vs (4) Scott Sparxx is working to get back to half guard.
Sparxx is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sparxx is desperately trying to improve his position but Scott has a good base and remains in mount. Scott tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Sparxx tries to hold on but Scott postures up. Scott controlling the pace for now. Sparxx can't escape the position.

That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Sparxx is looking to get to half guard. Sparxx is squirming around, avoiding Scott's attempts to control the action. Sparxx is looking to improve his position but Scott isn't that keen on the idea.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Scott trying to control but Sparxx is having none of it. Sparxx wants to hold on but Scott pushes him away. Sparxx is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Scott is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Scott is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag. Sparxx is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott controlling from the full mount.

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Scott avoids the attempt from Sparxx to control. Scott takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sparxx is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Scott wins on points by 4 to 2. A victorious Tyron Scott thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
