The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hayden moves into the clinch successfully.
Munyentwali wants to get back to striking at distance but Hayden won't allow it.

Hayden breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice straight punches there by Munyentwali. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Munyentwali.
Munyentwali cracks Hayden with an open hand slap.
Munyentwali lands a really nice looking cross but Hayden seems unphased.
Keaton Hayden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayden takes one to the chin there.

Hayden goes for a double leg but Munyentwali avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Munyentwali continues to drive forward.
Munyentwali was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Hayden looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Munyentwali feints a jab promting Hayden to slip. Munyentwali then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hayden slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Munyentwali tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hayden is able to avoid easily.

Munyentwali is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Hayden throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Munyentwali tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hayden is in Munyentwali's guard.

Hayden dives in for a single leg takedown but Munyentwali sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Munyentwali is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hayden shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Munyentwali as he avoids it easily.

Munyentwali uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Munyentwali sizes up Hayden with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
No joy there for Munyentwali, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Munyentwali dips to his left and cracks Hayden with an uppercut!
Hayden takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hayden moves out of range of the leg kick from Munyentwali.

Munyentwali lands a big right hand that sends Hayden crashing to the mat! Munyentwali stays standing though and waves Hayden back to his feet!

and Munyentwali scores with a counter punch that sends Hayden to the canvas! Munyentwali smells blood - he's punishing Hayden with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hayden has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
