Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Schrute (ranked 2982 p4p, 24667 weight class) and Hussein Hussein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dwight Schrute!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hussein Hussein!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schrute sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hussein somewhat.
An attempted straight right counter from Schrute misses the target.
A lazy left from Schrute finds it's target.
It looks like Hussein Hussein has been cut.
Hussein bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hussein shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schrute but Schrute pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hussein closes the distance and clinches up with Schrute, looking for a takedown. Hussein pushes Schrute against the cage but Schrute circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like Schrute wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Hussein shoots in looking for a takedown but Schrute manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hussein's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Schrute lands a big uppercut and Hussein crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hussein looks OK. Schrute waves Hussein back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schrute manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hussein manages to get himself to full guard.

Hussein throws an elbow that misses. Schrute uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hussein's guard. Nice move by Schrute!

Schrute can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hussein is looking to escape.

Well Schrute has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
