Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Bravo (ranked 3465 p4p, 25706 weight class) and Gunner Justice (ranked 398 p4p, 568 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scotty Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunner Justice!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Justice closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bravo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Justice tries for a kimura but Bravo is defending well.
Bravo is looking for a sweep.
Justice tries to stand but Bravo controls the position and pulls Justice into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Justice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bravo trying to keep a closed guard but Justice is proving a slippery customer.
Justice looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bravo pulls Justice in close to prevent any damage.

Bravo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bravo trying to control the position.
Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Justice must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bravo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Justice's guard.

Justice controls Bravo momentarily but Bravo frees himself.
Justice controlling Bravo's posture.
Bravo wants to pass the guard but Justice is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bravo passes into half guard.
Bravo wants to free his trapped foot but Justice is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Justice wants to improve his position but Bravo is controlling well.
Justice is refusing to be controlled, as Bravo sits in half guard.
Bravo throwing shots but Justice is blocking nicely.

Bravo is taking a breather. Justice says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Justice wants to control but Bravo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bravo wants to take a breather but Justice is having none of it.
Justice connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Bravo keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Justice trying to hold on to Bravo's head to control him but Bravo postures up.
Justice tries to get to full guard but Bravo has control of the leg.
Bravo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Justice!
Justice is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

Justice is trying desperately to improve position.
Bravo thowing shots but they're missing.
Bravo wants to control the pace but Justice is squirming around nicely.
Justice is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bravo controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravo punching from mount but Justice doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bravo unloads with some shots from mount but Justice bucks and avoids them well.

Bravo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Bravo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Justice is surviving well by controlling Bravo's body position as best he can.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Justice drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bravo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Justice controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Justice wants to stand but Bravo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bravo is looking for a triangle but Justice pushes his legs off easily.
Bravo trying to control the position.

Bravo tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Justice looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bravo!
Bravo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Bravo is trying to work for a sweep but Justice has mounted him!

Bravo wants to hold on but Justice pushes him away.
Justice lands with some strikes.
Justice sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Bravo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Bravo throwing hammer fists to the chest of Justice. What's that going to do exactly?

Justice moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bravo has worked his arm free - good work by Bravo!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Justice just content to control the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Gunner Justice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bravo is pressing down on Justice's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bravo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Justice is one step ahead there.
Bravo keeping full guard, as Justice tries to pass.
Bravo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bravo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Justice decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bravo is looking for a sweep. Justice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Justice content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Bravo is trying to maintain the position but Justice is very close to passing his half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Justice wants to free his trapped foot but Bravo is holding on for dear life with his legs.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Bravo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Justice's guard.
Justice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gunner Justice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Justice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
