Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Topf Deckel (ranked 2215 p4p, 3832 weight class) and Menes Kai (ranked 233 p4p, 374 weight class). Kai has chosen The Astronaut - Jin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Topf Deckel has been cut.
Kai takes a swing at Deckel's ribcage but misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Deckel misses its target.

Deckel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kai sprawls well initially but Deckel persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Deckel seems to be working for a kimura but Kai defends the submission attempt.
Kai tries to kick Deckel off in order to stand up. Deckel Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Deckel is looking to take a break and control but Kai is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Menes Kai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As Kai looks to move away, Deckel throws a big counter combo but Kai just gets out of the way.

Deckel takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kai is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Deckel rather than just go for the knockout.
Deckel shoots in for a takedown but Kai shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kai looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Deckel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kai to score with a decent uppercut.

Kai batters Deckel with a massive right followed by a huge left! Deckel is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Kai lands a final crushing right hand to drop Deckel to the mat with a gruesome thud! Kai is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
