Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabby Peachey (ranked 4173 p4p, 24837 weight class) and Jae Lee (ranked 252 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Peachey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Peachey tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lee manages to circle out of the way.
Lee looks winded!

Peachey throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Peachey is in Lee's guard.
Peachey wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peachey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Peachey closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lee did well to prevent Peachey getting side control.
Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Peachey looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Peachey is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Peachey is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Peachey perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peachey is pressing down on Lee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lee is holding on for now.
