Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob Song!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Draymond Green!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Song counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Song might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Song drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Green manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Song has Green in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Song looking for a guillotine here but Green defends easily.

Song is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Green slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Green seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Draymond Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Green misses with a takedown attempt - Song sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Song's waist but Song gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side.
Jacob Song has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Draymond Green.

Song manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Green on his heels. He'll look to pass Green's guard now, I'm sure.

As Green looks to move away, Song throws a big counter combo but Green just gets out of the way.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Song is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Green defends it well.
