Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5881 p4p, 23229 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 114 - 26 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 121 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B shoots in but no luck this time. Fighter A looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Fighter A controlling the action here. Fighter A seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fighter B for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A controlling the position easily from mount. Fighter B wants to hold on but Fighter A pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Fighter A is staying active. Fighter A controlling from the full mount. Fighter A misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Fighter A controlling his opponent. Fighter B keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B gets back to half guard. Still in half guard, Fighter A seems content to control. Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fighter A throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter B is holding on to half guard well.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Fighter B throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Fighter A dives in and grabs Fighter B's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes down on Fighter A's head and hops out. Fighter B steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fighter A. That one must have hurt. Fighter B has a takedown stuffed. Fighter A is looking for a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fighter A sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter A is looking to counter with a body kick. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter A as he avoids it easily. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fighter B shoots in but no luck this time. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter A sprawls well. Fighter A wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter B gets slowly back to his feet. And Fighter A counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter B blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter B dives in and grabs Fighter A's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter A pushes down on Fighter B's head and hops out. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Fighter B gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter B holds on and takes a little breather. Fighter B can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fighter A controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B controlling the position. Fighter A slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Fighter A lands a couple of digs. Fighter B striking off his back but it's not causing Fighter A any problems. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Fighter B is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter A looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fighter B!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. A lull in the action here as Fighter A stalls from top position. Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter B or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter A, which made it look bad. Fighter A closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A staying calm. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter A working away. Fighter B is letting Fighter A control him for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fighter B shoots for a takedown but Fighter A saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B with a lazy takedown attempt and Fighter A counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fighter B won't be happy with that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B being controlled for a moment. Fighter B can't do much from the bottom here. Fighter A moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Xxx Xxx overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter A working away. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
