Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ulysses Corbin!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Watson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Corbin throws an off balance right hand
and Watson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Corbin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Corbin thuds his right hand into Watson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nice jab there from Corbin.
Ulysses Corbin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corbin throws a lazy right hand but Watson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Corbin throws a right hand that misses
and Watson counters with a stiff right hand.
Corbin with a lazy takedown attempt
and Watson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Corbin throws a looping overhand right but Watson ducks down to avoid it.

Watson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jake Watson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Corbin misses with a hook.
Watson lands with a shot to the body.
Watson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Watson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Corbin lands a lovely overhand right.
Corbin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Corbin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Watson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looked like Watson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Corbin.
Corbin is still on wobbly legs! Can Watson finish him?
Corbin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Watson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Corbin seems to have recovered his senses.
Corbin throws an off balance right hand
and Watson comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Corbin stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Watson is on him like rabid pit bull! Corbin slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Watson!
Our winner, Jake Watson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
