Robinson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
DiMaggio circles away from the clinch attempt.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
DiMaggio weaves into range and cracks Robinson right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Robinson goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! DiMaggio is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
