Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Soo Young Yoo (ranked 2611 p4p, 4268 weight class) and Miles Silva (ranked 180 p4p, 255 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Beleza Pula - Masayoshi Takanaka. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva moves into range and clinches up with Yoo.
Silva pushes Yoo back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Nice body punch from Silva.

Yoo pulls Silva into guard.
Yoo is trying to control the position but Silva postures up.

Yoo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Yoo pulls Silva in to control the position.
Silva tries to stand but Yoo is controlling from the bottom.
Yoo trying to keep a closed guard but Silva is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yoo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Silva frees his head nicely. Oh but Yoo has switched to an armbar! Silva is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
