Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joao Santos (ranked 3481 p4p, 5346 weight class) and Dan Fieldman (ranked 344 p4p, 479 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Santos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fieldman for as long as he can get away with.

That was a close round but I would say that Joao Santos will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fieldman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Santos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fieldman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
