Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23666 p4p, 23896 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 42 - 61 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 50 - 49 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sapi stuffs the takedown. Libat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sapi avoids it really well and circles away. And Sapi responds with a good body kick, but Libat manages to step out the way in time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sapi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Libat pulls Sapi in to control the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sapi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Libat has his hands on Sapi's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Libat can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sapi controls the pace. Libat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Libat wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Libat with a poor takedown and Sapi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Libat thinking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A quick step to the side and Libat tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Libat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sapi sprawls well. Sapi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Libat gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sapi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there. Libat closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sapi circles away. Libat throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sapi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Libat is in Sapi's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat content to stall in guard here. Sapi pulls Libat in close to his closed guard and prevents Libat from doing any damage or advancing position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Libat enables Sapi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Libat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sapi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Libat pulls Sapi in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Libat tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sapi postures up in Libat's guard and throws a big left but Libat blocks it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Libat has a takedown stuffed. Libat shoots in looking for a takedown but Sapi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Libat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sapi scores with a takedown into Libat's guard. Sapi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Libat trying to control the position here. Sapi controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Libat works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Sapi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Libat's waist but Libat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sapi off to one side. Sapi has a takedown stuffed. It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there. Libat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sapi tries to avoid it but Libat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sapi to the ground. Sapi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat dives in and grabs Sapi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sapi pushes down on Libat's head and hops out. Sapi doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Libat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sapi's waist but Sapi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Libat off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi lands with a kick to the ribs.
Libat darts in looking for a takedown but Sapi gets double underhooks and turns Libat into the cage. Sapi steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Sapi tries for a takedown. No joy.
Sapi has picked Libat up - he's going for a ride! Sapi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Libat trying to hold on to Sapi's head to control him but Sapi postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Libat wants to get back to full guard. Sapi perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Sapi wants to pass to mount but Libat is defending the position. Libat controlling the position well. Libat wants to control but Sapi passes into side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Libat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sapi happy to just control the position for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Sapi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi controls the position. Wala Sapi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat can't do much from the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sapi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
