Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tarlan Magomedov (ranked 3805 p4p, 5264 weight class) and Warren Carter (ranked 418 p4p, 488 weight class). Warren Carter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Carter.

Magomedov clinches.

Magomedov has clasped his hands together around Carter's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Carter is trying to escape the mount but Magomedov keeps good control and instead manages to take Carter's back.

Magomedov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Carter has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Carter wants to escape the position.
Carter looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Magomedov is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Carter has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Magomedov has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Carter taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Magomedov doesn't care though - he's delighted!
