Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Balal Lama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Nickels!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickels keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lama moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Lama throws a low kick, looking for Nickels's leg but Nickels calmly moves out of range.
A low kick from Lama is predictable there
and Nickels counters with a takedown into side control.
Lama manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Lama seems to be looking for submissions.
Nickels is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lama stops Nickels from getting back to his feet.
Nickels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lama. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nickels tries to get to full guard but Lama has control of the leg.

Nickels wants to control but Lama is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lama has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nickels defend it? Lama steps over the head and cranks it - Nickels is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lama!
