And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alexander Romanov!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick lands for Nagy.
Romanov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nagy.
Romanov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nagy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nagy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Romanov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nagy somewhat.
Romanov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nagy.
Nagy is looking to counter the offense by Romanov and move into the clinch.
Nagy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Left hook, right uppercut from Romanov.
Nagy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Nagy closes the distance and clinches up with Romanov, looking for a takedown. Nagy pushes Romanov against the cage but Romanov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Romanov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Romanov wants it to stay on the feet.
Romanov is looking for the big counter here.
Nagy is breathing heavily.
Nagy dodges the punch combination from Romanov.
Romanov throws a combination that misses
and Nagy counters with a three punch combo that has Romanov backing up. Romanov nods at Nagy to acknowledge the strikes.

That's time! Nagy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Romanov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nagy dives in and grabs Romanov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Romanov pushes down on Nagy's head and hops out.
Nagy shoots for a double leg takedown but Romanov sprawls well. He's pushed Nagy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Romanov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Romanov looks to land a combination but Nagy avoids it well.
Romanov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Romanov.

Nagy is rocked!
Romanov Throws a clean left jab. Romanov Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Nagy's chin! Nagy crumbles to the ground and Romanov follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Romanov!
