Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Langstaff (ranked 3952 p4p, 4210 weight class) and Magomet Dalgatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Langstaff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Magomet Dalgatov! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Langstaff gets tackled into the cage by Dalgatov. Dalgatov maintains the clinch. Langstaff is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dalgatov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Dalgatov tries to land knees in the clinch but Langstaff avoids the damage to the body. Dalgatov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Langstaff closes the distance and clinches. Dalgatov is defending well against a takedown attempt. Dalgatov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dalgatov manages to end up in side control. Langstaff is trying to control Dalgatov's posture but Dalgatov avoids it. Dalgatov wants to stand but Langstaff has his arm trapped. Dalgatov throws a strike aimed at the side of Langstaff's head but Langstaff avoids it well. Dalgatov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Langstaff. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Langstaff is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Dalgatov wants to control but Langstaff is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langstaff keeps control of the position for the meantime. Dalgatov is looking to take a break and control but Langstaff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dalgatov keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Dalgatov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dalgatov wants to advance to full mount but Langstaff doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Langstaff keeping moving, preventing Dalgatov from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dalgatov wants to stand and escape but instead Langstaff has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Langstaff would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Langstaff forces his way into half guard. Dalgatov wants to get back to full guard. Dalgatov is trying to escape back to his feet but Langstaff uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Dalgatov is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalgatov is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Langstaff is controlling him well. Dalgatov being controlled for a moment. Dalgatov is looking for a sweep. Langstaff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dalgatov keeps working. Dalgatov trying his best to control but Langstaff has mounted him. Langstaff controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dalgatov taking shots to the head. Dalgatov wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Dalgatov trying to control the action but Langstaff just sinks the hooks in. Langstaff tries to get the hooks in deep but Dalgatov pushed the leg off. Dalgatov is trying to break free.
Dalgatov is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dalgatov is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Langstaff tries to keep control of the position but Dalgatov is staying busy. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Langstaff dominated that round. That's time! Langstaff's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Langstaff has managed to clinch.
Langstaff is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dalgatov can do to turn this around? Dalgatov stalling the fight.
Dalgatov blocks an uppercut.
Dalgatov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Langstaff uses from the top position. Langstaff looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Langstaff throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dalgatov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dalgatov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Langstaff controls the pace. Dalgatov wants to sweep but no luck.

Langstaff works a leg free and moves into half guard. Langstaff is taking a breather. Dalgatov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Langstaff thows a huge punch but Dalgatov dodges it nicely.
Dalgatov wants to improve his position but Langstaff is controlling well.
Langstaff trying to control the action but Dalgatov is working from the bottom. Dalgatov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Langstaff pulls his head out easily. Dalgatov tries to roll over but Langstaff keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Langstaff winds up and cracks Dalgatov with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Langstaff blocks the strikes from Dalgatov.
Well, if Langstaff is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Dalgatov is controlling Langstaff's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Langstaff shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dalgatov counters with a nice uppercut. A combination from Dalgatov does no damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Langstaff closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dalgatov's guard. Langstaff content to stall in guard here. Dalgatov wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Langstaff is now in half guard. Johnny Langstaff overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Langstaff tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dalgatov. Dalgatov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Langstaff is stalling here. Dalgatov is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Langstaff seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dalgatov has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalgatov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Langstaff is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Langstaff is trying to get back to his feet. Dalgatov slows the pace down. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Langstaff is looking for a sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Langstaff will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Dalgatov misses with a head kick.
Dalgatov darts in looking for a takedown but Langstaff gets double underhooks and turns Dalgatov into the cage. Langstaff fails in his attempt to clinch. Dalgatov dives in and scores a takedown into Langstaff's guard. Langstaff lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Langstaff stopping the sweep attempt from Dalgatov. Dalgatov keeping moving, preventing Langstaff from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Langstaff postures up.
Langstaff trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dalgatov's guard. Dalgatov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Langstaff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langstaff slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Langstaff wanted to stand there but Dalgatov had control of the position. Langstaff postures up.
Langstaff works over Dalgatov with some ground and pound from guard. Langstaff thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Left hook, right uppercut from Dalgatov. Langstaff tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dalgatov counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalgatov tries to stand but can't do so whilst Langstaff controls his leg. Langstaff has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dalgatov is working away from the top position though. Dalgatov slows the pace down in half guard. Langstaff trying to hold on to Dalgatov's head to control him but Dalgatov postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dalgatov is looking to stall here but Langstaff recovers full guard. Dalgatov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Langstaff keeping moving, preventing Dalgatov from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Magomet Dalgatov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Johnny Langstaff is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dalgatov misses with a body shot
and Langstaff counters with a three punch combo that has Dalgatov backing up. Dalgatov nods at Langstaff to acknowledge the strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Langstaff. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Langstaff, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
