Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Greene (ranked 700 p4p, 578 weight class) and Wayne Williams (ranked 51 p4p, 42 weight class). Greene comes to the cage accompanied by Stepdad- Eminem. Ricky Greene is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Ricky Greene! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 40 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wayne Williams! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Greene manages to avoid it. Greene has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Greene uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Williams. Williams looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Greene throws a body shot but no joy. Greene takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Nice defenses there by Greene. Williams throws a shot to the body.

Greene feinted with a counter takedown. Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Wayne Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Greene bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams swings for the body but Greene moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams misses with a looping right. Williams takes a swing at Greene's ribcage but misses. Williams blocks a jab. Greene misses the shot to the body. Greene staying out of range there. Nice cross by Williams. Greene feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williamss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Williams looks to land a right hand but Greene moved out of range. Greene tries to counter with a takedown but Williams is quick to defend against it. Greene staying out of range there. Williams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Greene was well out of range. Poor timing from Williams. Greene lands with a hook. Williams tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Williams gets caught napping as Greene dives in and scores a takedown. Williams manages to retain guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Greene drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Greene jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Greene might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Greene forces his way into half guard.

Greene trying to control the action but Williams is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Williams wants to control but Greene is keeping busy and won't allow it. Greene is working for a kimura but Williams is defending it quite comfortably.
Greene perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Williams wants to control but Greene is keeping busy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wayne Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target. Greene blocks a jab. A jab from Williams misses. Greene drops down looking for a counter takedown but Williams sprawls and moves away. Williams slaps away a takedown attempt from Greene, before circling back to the center of the mat. Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Greene. Greene gets slowly back to his feet. Greene shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Greene. That's going to take a lot out of him. Greene ducks right into an uppercut from Williams. Williams throws a predictable looking body shot
and Greene counters with a single leg into guard. Williams didn't expect that. Greene not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wayne Williams dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Greene.

Greene changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Greene manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Williams appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Greene.
Greene shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Greene looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Greene working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Greene working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Williams looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Greene! Submission of the night perhaps?
