Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toti Rotiz (ranked 1200 p4p, 2160 weight class) and Gregor Frieberg (ranked 167 p4p, 289 weight class). Rotiz comes to the cage accompanied by Southtown. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toti Rotiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gregor Frieberg! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rotiz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Frieberg tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rotiz defends well and Frieberg ends up having to push Rotiz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rotiz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Rotiz gets caught napping as Frieberg dives in and scores a takedown. Rotiz manages to retain guard. Frieberg works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rotiz trying to control here.
Frieberg works his foot free and advances to mount. Frieberg is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rotiz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rotiz shrugs it off. Frieberg lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Frieberg lands a big elbow. Rotiz's coaches at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Rotiz bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Frieberg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rotiz defends it easily. Rotiz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rotiz engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rotiz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Frieberg's head. Rotiz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Frieberg has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Frieberg is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Frieberg looking to control.

Gregor Frieberg seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Toti Rotiz was interviewed post fight and said 'I was hurt, my cat is sick, it's raining outside, heard someone fart in the arena... I should have never lost, I'm the real winner.'.
