The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Nutz clinches. Nutz prevents the takedown attempt.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nutz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nutz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chibaclov is trying to keep Nutz in close.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chibaclov is on top in guard.

Nutz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Chibaclov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nutz dives on top into guard. Nutz sitting in guard here, content to control. Nutz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chibaclov is keeping the position for now. Chibaclov looking to control.
Chibaclov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nutz is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nutz passes into half guard. Chibaclov is refusing to be controlled, as Nutz sits in half guard.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nutz in particular looking to stall. Chibaclov regains full guard. Nicely done. Nutz's corner is telling him to maintain position. Nutz is sitting in close to Chibaclov's body. Chibaclov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Nutz is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Nutz is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Chibaclov.
